I've noticed how large and how incredible Manuel Ferrara's "Raw" series has become. I have seen the first one, reviewed it and enjoyed the hell out of it. I really enjoy videos like this, although I do not have the patience to watch too many videos like this, I enjoy the undercurrent of this series and wish more porn directors would make videos like this, where they expose their personal side and distribute their personal files of their sexuality. John Staglino has done this also in "Buttman Confidential" and I really enjoy the intimate side of even a porn director.
I've noticed how Manuel Ferrara (a real ladies' man) has spent more time with his "Raw" series than bringing out any other videos in the year of 2010. Now, he has released "Raw 6", which stars the one and only Jynx Maze and Mia Rose (who he's fucked so many times)! Even the website XCritic has given his entire series four stars or more, praising his series like hell! I am seriosuly on the verge of seeing "Raw 3" (which looks like it's probably the best in the series) and maybe "Manuel's Fucking French Vacation" (which is similar to his "Raw" videos).
I am curious... In everyone's opinion, who has seen the series, which would you consider the best in the entire series?

I love the series, but it kinda depends on what girl you like because almost all the scenes are scorching. The only flaw I can think of was a very distracting booger in her nose for half the scene with Charley Chase scene. That's a little too real. Also, I think I expected just too much from a free-flowing scene with Bobbi Starr. They were kind of subdued.

The newest one, Raw 6, has a scene unlike any other that I've ever seen. I actually had to question whether I should be viewing it. It was so real and personal, almost shocking in the range of emotions it evoked in Mia Rose. I think a lot's going to be written about this particular episode.
The series itself works because Manuel has a legitimate appeal to many of these women. Some obviously more than others. It can't give you the dynamic video of regular porn, and it demands a commitment by the viewer because of the length of most scenes.

I haven't seen them all. Wish there would be more anal because that's always hot, and my taste in women isn't exactly the same (Manuel seems to prefer big tits and fuller women while I prefer them lean). The Raw series is one of the best out there IMO. I haven't seen Raw 6 yet, but the best ones so far have been Raw 4 and the one with Chayse Evans in it (can't remember what number right now). Manuel should definitely keep them coming.

I would love to be in that series but unfortunately I am no longer shooting with males, and I am just returning to the business after being gone from shooting for other companies for a VERY LONG TIME. Only females NOW. Sorry! Manuel is a great performer and I do agree we did some great scenes together years ago. Although he does amazing scenes with almost everyone he works with, he is a true porn star and really loves what he does. As far as I could tell from when I worked with him years ago. The Bobbi Starr one was fucking amazing. This topic is a couple of months old, but since I just bought the whole range of Manuel's RAW titles I must say: in over twenty years of watching and enjoying porn - these are very likely to be the best scenes I've ever seen. Also recently discovered the Raw series, and am in favour of all moves to more realistic and intimate sex.
PornPros' RealExGirlfriends is more miss than hit (depending on the male performer), but the hits follow a similar theme to the Raw series. More steady cam full body shots, and cam on the side table with passionate real sex. The misses are just constant POV clumsiness. Their MassageCreep series with Johnny Castle is also good, and the early TeenBFF scenes were great (TeenBFF changed crews sometime last year and turned to complete shite).
What I don't get is the lack of a middle ground. A guy fucking and working a camera at the same time is always going to fall short. Use a 3rd-party camera man/woman, as long as he/she sits back and just records, as opposed to directs, the action. Mason and WilliamH from Elegant Angel are very good at this.
Sweet Sinners' Nica Noelle movies are leading the game IMO for this type of realistic sex. Most of her titles are cougar/milf oriented, but still outshine the "photoshoot porn". The scenes she has shot with young starlets like Nicole Ray, Chayse Evans, Gracie Glam, Jynx Maze, etc. are outstanding! I long for a Sweet Sinner series dedicated to younger starlets.
