Can you guys let me know how good a Fleshlight is? How close to the real thing etc? I'm not in the USA so will be costing me a fair whack and would like some feedback prior to forking out well over $100 local currency for one.

I will certainly agree that there is some prep work and extra cleanup involved but the feeling of the fleshlight is amassing. It is way better then using your own hand. Just learn to chill and enjoy the journey.

They are incredible. I have Tori Black's model "Torrid" and I really like the insert but that is the only one I've tried. As I noted in another thread, it's a lot of maintenance. I find myself drooling over new inserts but then I remember all the work needed and I think the better of it. Way better than a hand, doesn't compare in this universe.

Maybe that's why they don't sell? I don't know. I do know in the time I've worked there (not quite a year) I personally have sold one Fleshlight and THREE Fuck Me Silly 2, which is a $300 torso with boobs,pussy and ass. Do a search on this forum, but push the date search way back, and you'll find several threads that discuss Fleshlights good and bad.
As a substitution for a porn star "I really want to stick it into [whomever]" it depends mostly on how good your imagination is and how well you can suspend disbelief.
As far as toys go, Fleshlights have a lot going for them. They're large, stretchy, fairly heavy (and durable) and easy to clean. You can leave them in the can if you want the rigid structure or take them out of the can if you don't. You can jam them between sofa cushions, tape them onto things, stick them in shoes (I saw a video of that. Guy looked like he was fucking a tennis shoe), and so on. If you take the end cap off you get air flow, if you screw it down tight you get suction, and you can vary them in-between.
The weight makes it not so good if you want to hand-hold it in the traditional way because you'll get fatigued (unless you have Popeye forearms). And as someone ^ above said, you have to soak them in warm water when the ambient temp is cold.
As a fairly-close competitor, take a look at the Tenga Flip-Hole and see what you think.
Compared to a P&A toy they're more versatile. P&A toys have better visuals, IMO.
I don't care much for the closed-end pocket pussies, but they vary a lot. A lot of it depends on the material and what the inner-lining is like. The only one of those I liked was the "Head Honcho", and the appeal there is largely that it's cheap. I like it the best of the pocket-pussy variety.
